GenRacer PWC Car back to the dyno!

We had some boost spiking issues at our PWC event in Limerock
World Challenge is very strict on boost limits and this needed to be addressed before the next event. 

So we trailered the car up to Turbokits.com and met up with Sam at BTRcc to tune the car and get the boost stable. Very good results and the car feels amazing. We will be at Watkins Glenn, NY next week for a NASA race to do some testing. Incar video to come!

Engine/Trans Removed - WC Build

Engine and trans to removed for some telemetry sensors to be installed, clutch, bushings, and other motor preventive items to be address. SCCA rules also state that we need to run 2 drive shaft safety loops and a ballistic shield on the bell housing. We will get to those necessary items at a later time. As for the motor build, we must run the factory turbo and manifolds. The motors will be stock except for Supertech Dual Valve springs that we are still awaiting from the manufacture.

WC Build: Stripping and Stiching

We are at that stage now that involves dry ice and time. We start by removing all of the cars sound dampening to save weight as well as uncover the seems so they can be ground and ready for welding. We weld the interior seems at this time to start with the cage construction.

Interior is coming out easy and will be selling the interior pieces we will not be using for this build.

The magnetic nut and bolt tray is filling up fast!

Stripped and ready for dry ice to be applied on the sound dampening areas so it can be removed. This will help save weight as well prep us for stitch welding.
